 Osun Tribunal Judgement: No Cause For Alarm, Ajilesoro Assures Masses The lawmaker representing Ife federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Taofeek Ajilesoro has called on the people of Osun to remain calm, regarding Friday's tribunal  judgement.  In a press statement issued by the lawmaker, he said what happened today is just a temporary setback, that Adeleke remains the Governor of Osun State.  While urging his supporters to remain calm, he said Governor Adeleke has vowed to appeal the judgement at the Court of Appeal, insisting he remains the rightful winner of the July 16 election. The lawmaker said it is undeniable fact that Osun people have rejected APC, as this was demonstrated during the last July 16th, 2022, governorship election in the state. He said "We understand their tactics, they are only trying to do all these to get hold of their members."  As a community, we need to deliberately raise politicians with national prominence to escalate our progress and development. I strongly believe, one term won’t do that. With bigger picture in mind, our representatives should be considered for two terms except they’ve failed woefully in their first term. That is not the case with Hon Taofeek Ajilesoro. Sending new hand every four years is like repeating the same class again and again. The community won’t move forward or at best at snail speed. Also, Ajilesoro represents the face of the new breed of political leaders in our community, a total breakaway from the old one-man leadership.  His emergence about four years ago have paved the way for many new young aspirants in our community in different parties without godfatherism.
