Journey to the podium of resounding Victory for his Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke

 X-raying the journey to this podium of resounding victory for His Excellency Senator Ademola Adeleke and PDP, the Ile-Ife factor played a significant role. Recall the abysmal performance at our last outing in Ile-Ife in 2018 when Honourable Albert Abiodun Adeogun  was fielded as a running mate, PDP lost everywhere. So by juxtaposition in 2022, tremendous improvement was recorded and Ife land produced whooping over 50,000 votes in support of Adeleke's emergence in all the 4 local governments. This is a major feat considering that it happened at the backyard of that wizard of politics, Oga Iyiola Omisore . Make no mistakes, it is not that Omisore no longer wield, good relevance but the digital breeds who have now emerged and calling the shots measured up and our ever potent subsisting guards never relented. Mentioning must be made of our great leader, the crooner of Tobalase politics in Ile-Ife during the lifetime of the immediate past Ooni, Oba Okunade Sijuade of blessed memory.

Imagine if we had not recorded the bogus 50,000 votes figure, where we will be today! The rejected stone became the corner piece stone holding the house. Despite the harvest of many PDP zigzag Leaders in Ife and environs including the self announced mutiny leader Wale Ojo Power and co by Otunba Omisore, the original PDP stalwarts in Ife stood their ground and today we can sing hosanna.

Upon an elaborate investigation, one name stood out and that is the Ajilesoro family in Ife and indeed their Ambassador, performing Reps Member Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro. It was not about getting the votes alone, Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro ensured the frustration of every attempt to rig that election. Ife land sons and daughters were mobilesed strategically to defend the votes. Many thanks to Honourable Ajilesoro for being able to weather the storm under the guidance of our erudite Leader, Wale Oladipo.

Other factors such as the nomination of a deputy governor who is alive politically unlike before played important roles. Above all, the valiant Modakeke people are cardinal to the good and impressive outcome in Ife-land.

In the times of yore, if you contest Osun governorship and results have been collated from everywhere but Ife votes are yet to be returned, you had better not rejoice. Ife still maintains that special and giant stature till date. Everybody were worried because there was delay in releasing the figures from Ife on July 16th. However in the end, God won. Whoever that will divorce the system for the system to be fortunate are better prayed to not delay in seeking for divorce, this is relating to those who went on excursion to the APC in Ife axis.

Congratulations to His Excellency, The newly returned Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi. I consider that the Duo of Adewusi and Taofeek Ajilesoro must build greater alliances with the sanction of Professor Wale Oladipo in order that we will continue to retain and takeover everywhere in Ile-Ife. Indeed, Modakeke people are a reliable people and positive partners.
