 Face your self-inflicted woes, Ajilesoro not responsible, Ile-Ife PDP tells APC

Our attention has been drawn to some lies and propaganda being peddled around by the opposition APC in Ile-Ife and its environs that our Star Boy, Hon. Taofeek Ajilesoro is sponsoring thugs to attack some members of APC. 

As usual, we would have kept them where they belong, because all that APC knows how to do is to be spreading around fake information, trying to curry public sympathy, but for the sake of some unsuspecting readers and lovers of our own distinguished Hon. Ajilesoro and our party, PDP, I need to set the records straight. 

It is undeniable fact that in Osun today, through the help of God and the support of the people, PDP remains the ruling party, not only that, it is the party that has a majority on its side, hence we need not either coerce or force people to do our bidding or support us. 

The incident that occurred in Ifetedo, though condemned in its entirety, was a reaction to the suffering the APC-led federal government plunged the entire masses into which led to their attack in Ifetedo, Ife South. The masses are tired of their anti-masses policies, generally, people are boiling because of the suffering in town, no money, and no fuel, they are hungry and very angry. APC should not hold Hon Ajilesoro responsible for their predicament. I want to implore APC members in Ile-ife to check themselves very well and joined hands with other Nigerians to appeal to their party-led government to put an end to the suffering of the people.

No reasonable person will want to associate with or campaign for APC candidates in the State because the party has nothing good for the masses. These are part of what the APC is seeing that made them result in blackmailing our own well-behaved Hon. Taofeek Ajilesoro. 

The achievements of Hon. Ajilesoro in the last three years remains unprecedented. None of the representatives of the people in the Ife federal constituency had been able to do what this enigma has done. More reason why he is being shown with love and treated with fanfare everywhere he goes for the campaign, the records are there for people to see. 

We want to reiterate that Hon. Ajilesoro is a peace-loving son of the soil, who on many occasions has displayed this. He is not the type that believes in or encourages violence of any kind, APC should stop this campaign of calumny and stop holding our innocent lawmaker responsible for their self-inflicted woes.
