The lawmaker representing Ife federal constituency who was just re-elected on Saturday, February 25, 2023, Hon. Taofeek Ajilesoro has commiserated with the family of Comrade Segun Omotosho, former PDP caretaker chairman, Ife Central local government, and PDP family of his shocking death on early hours of Saturday. 


Hon. Ajilesoro in a condolence message personally signed described the death of Comrade Omotosho as a rude shock. He said till late evening of Friday, the deceased was still very much okay and he attended many meetings.  


"I find it difficult to believe that you are no longer with us here. But who are we to challenge God? May God continue to rest your soul and give the family you left behind the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss."


"I ought to have started my 'thank you' tour around the federal constituency, but I have put a stop to it for now due to this unpalatable situation."


The lawmaker however encouraged members of PDP in Ife federal constituency to see the death of Comrade Omotosho as a test of faith. He prayed for the family the deceased left behind that God will comfort them at this trying period.
