Ajilesoro Congratulates Osun Speaker, Deputy and other Lawmakers


The exceptional federal legislator, Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro has forwarded congratulatory messages to the newly sworn-in Speaker of Osun State 8th Assembly, Rt Hon. Adewale Egbedun and the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Ireyode Oyewusi.


Hon Ajilesoro expressed delight over the choice of the New Speaker and the Deputy Speaker and applauded the Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke for giving Youths maximum support to assume the leadership position in the State House expressing his unflinching confidence that the newly sworn-in lawmakers will complement the conscientious efforts of the Governor in ensuring the state experiences outstanding delivery of good governance.


In a congratulatory message delivered to the press, the record-breaking lawmaker remarked.


"My hearty congratulations to the newly elected Honourable Speaker, Adewale Egbedun and Deputy Speaker, Oyewusi Ireyode of Osun State House of Assembly. I wish you both, a successful tenure as you take charge of the mantle of leadership of the Osun State Parliament. 


I equally extend my warm congratulatory greetings to all other newly sworn-in legislators in the state and most especially the legislators from Ife federal constituency namely; Hon Olumide Fatunmise from Ife East State constituency, Hon Abiola Awoyeye from Ife Central and Hon Olalekan Adeoti from Ife south state constituency. I am proud of you all and I know you will more than justify the expectations of all the enthusiastic members of our dear state and your respective constituencies. I wish you all great success and all the best in your new roles."


He further charged the Legislative arm of the government to, as a matter of urgency, set the ball rolling by working harmoniously to contribute their quota as critical stakeholders to move the state forward.
