Ajilesoro Congratulates Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Akogun Lere Oyewumi


"It gives me immense joy today to see my Leader of high repute from Osun State clinching one of the principal officers of the 10th National Assembly position. this is no doubt proof of his political sagacity and dexterity. Senator Akogun Lere Oyewumi's dedication and selfless service to the people around him and our party, the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State have come to bear. The news is not a thing of surprise to some of us who know Akogun Olalere's capacity and capability. He has always demonstrated a rare leadership trait in any political gathering and functions he found himself.
 I, therefore, expressed my deep-seated congratulations to you him"

The above statements were the remarks from Honourable Taofeeek Abimbola Ajilesoro, the Lawmaker from the Source while responding to the pressmen that visited his office yesterday over the news of the names of the Senate's principal officers that was announced by the Senate President, Godwin Akpabio on Tuesday, July 4th.

The lawmaker stated further; "The deputy minority leader of the Senate being appointed to Akogun Lere is well deserved and I have the strongest belief that he will surely make a huge impact in this new position going from his past track record. I wish him all the best".

Honourable Ajilesoro also extended the greetings to the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke, the people of Osun State and most essentially, his Osun West Senatorial district people. Saying it is a win-win victory for the Osun people in general.
